The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s 2026 General Assembly, “The Bold Type” will be held June 16-19, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL. The Learning Lab proposal period for CBF’s 2026 General Assembly is open until Friday, February 27.

As CBF seeks to be a community of boldness in a world calling for the prophetic witness of Christ through word and action–we look forward to shared exploration through learning labs proposed and presented on topics that align with the theme “The Bold Type" and provide both inspiration and practical application for living Christ's bold witness in the world.

The purpose of Learning Labs is to provide space for mutual equipping at General Assembly. Learning Lab Coordinators are looking for compelling and creative content that appeals to a wide range of attendees and accompanies our General Assembly exploration of the texts that call us to no longer be passive observers or simply informed citizens but rather equips the Fellowship to act boldly in the Gospel.

Learning Lab proposals that serve primarily to promote a book, program, initiative, or individual are strongly discouraged. We especially welcome proposals related to practical mission and ministry topics.

Please submit proposals via the online form below. The deadline for submissions is February 27th at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

All submissions will be reviewed and considered by the Learning Labs Coordinators for the 2026 General Assembly. Learning Labs will all be presented in person at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront on June 18 (1:30-2:30 p.m.) and June 19 (1:30-2:30 p.m. and 3:00-4:00 p.m.).

Notification about your Learning Lab proposal can be expected during the month of March. If you have any questions, please contact Learning Labs Logistics Coordination Team at learninglabs@cbf.net.

*Please note: CBF will provide A/V support for Learning Labs but does not provide any remuneration for Learning Lab leaders during the General Assembly. Not all Learning Lab proposals will be accepted.
